Uncooled B-Kit Standard Moves Ahead

An interfacing standard for uncooled modules has been adopted by the Motion Imagery Standards Board (MISB), a standards board of the Department of Defense. The “Uncooled B-Kit Interface Control Document” (ICD) which was prepared by Night Vision & Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) with input from industry specifies the details of the mechanical, optical and electrical interfaces of standard modules called “B-Kits” that makes use of uncooled focal plane arrays.|
