TRW Awarded $2.9B NPOESS Contract

TRW has been awarded a $2.9 billion contract as prime contractor to build the National Polar-orbiting Operational environmental Satellite System (NPOESS), a next-generation meteorological satellite system, which is being jointly funded by the Department of Commerce, Department of Defense and NASA.|
