European Next-Gen Targeting

Four European countries have agreed to develop a next-generation airborne targeting system. The governments of the UK, France, Italy and Spain are jointly launching the Airborne System for Target Recognition (ASTRID) program to be able to deliver improved capability for Laser guided Bombs and other advanced munitions by the end of the decade.|
